Review of Proverbs 2

It’s another day peeping into wisdom… Don’t forget, these are just gleanings based on how the Spirit opened up to me… I encourage us all to put notes down as the Spirit opens up to us.

I read through Proverbs 2 carrying my 15 months daughter, she loves to play but Daddy is holding his Bible reading Proverbs 2… She was making sounds like crying because I didn’t allow her touch the Bible. The Bible never remains the same after she touches it… Coincidentally, Proverbs 2 started with phrases like;

…cry after knowledge…

…lift up your voice for understanding…

…seek her as silver…

I looked at the pretty girl and asked, “I hope you are crying for wisdom, knowledge and understanding?”

As a spiritual father, I laid hands on her and declared: You have the wisdom of God. You walk in greater dimensions of wisdom. You express fruits of wisdom. Jesus has been made wisdom unto you, so you bask in the full benefits of wisdom… You lead a godly life- You lead a life of lasting value. You are ETERNALLY SECURED. AMEN.

LESSON 1: Walking in Wisdom (Amplified)

I mentioned yesterday about RECIEVING from the Lord as the way of making wisdom manifest. The Holy Spirit expanded that in my heart as he took me to the New Testament…

1 Corinthians 2:9 KJVA But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

It was before that this verse turned prayer point used to be ghenghen… but staying on this verse alone robs a believer of his true identity… Check the next verse…

1 Corinthians 2:10 KJVA But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Hallelujah! Nothing is hidden to you… Mysteries are unvieled to you…That’s not even the best part…

1 Corinthians 2:16 GNB As the scripture says: “Who knows the mind of the Lord? Who is able to give him advice?” WE, HOWEVER, HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.

This is a truth we should get excited about, dance around the living room rejoicing that the same mind Christ HAS, IS WHAT YOU HAVE!

Mishlei (Pro) 2:1-2 CJBA My son, if you will receive my words and store (richly) my commands inside you, paying attention to wisdom inclining (applying) your mind toward understanding…

The wisdom of these words is available to those who, first of all, understand the rich value that wisdom possesses. Appropriating wisdom begins when one values it above all else. Then, to apply one’s mind commonly refers to the mind as the center of thinking and reason, but also includes the emotions, the will and thus, the whole inner being. The heart is the depository of all wisdom and the source of whatever effects speech, sight and thoughts.

So to actively make wisdom manifest is to richly store its words and let your words align to the words of wisdom, let your sights align to the words of wisdom and let your thoughts align to the words of wisdom.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom… | Colossians 3:16 KJVA

LESSON 2: Well of Wisdom…

Proverbs 2:6-7 KJVA | For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

The Lord giveth… This denotes an ever flowing, never stopping supply… Sound wisdom here denotes “phronesis” indicating discretion and direction. Sometimes you may feel stuck not knowing what next and where next, don’t worry, the extraordinary strategist is your wisdom supplier, he doesn’t hoard his gifts to his own.

James 1:5 | “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Not out of our mouth cometh knowledge, but out of His. The knowledge is in His Word. Wisdom operates via Revelation… As you dig into the word, there is a spring welling up inside you… You operate always in the superspiritual… Glory to God!

Wisdom dwells in me richly…

I know what to do per time…

I walk in discretion and direction…

I operate in the superspiritual…

Amen!
