THANKSGIVING FOR THE LORD’S MERCY

Verses 1-4

O give thanks unto the LORD ; for he is good: Because his mercy endureth for ever.  Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth for ever.  Let the house of Aaron now say, That his mercy endureth for ever.  Let them now that fear the LORD say, That his mercy endureth for ever.

Mercy, love and forgiveness are the bedrock of vertical and horizontal relationships. Aaron, Isreal, and like other prophets in the bible are products of the loving-kindness and mercy of God.

Horizontal relationship… This is your relationship with fellow menlet not mercy and truth forsake you (Proverbs 3:3). Hurriedly give help to whom that have erred you.

Vertical relationship… This is your relationship with God. God reconciled us to himself by giving up His only begotten son that we should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. For by His mercy that we are not consumed. Lamentations 3:22.

In fact, the mercy of God is seen over all His Ps 145:7. The mercy of God! How great it is!

#Singing….

When I think of the mercies of Jesus,

And all he has done for me,

My very soul shall shout Halleluyah…

Praise God!, for saving me

The mercy of God makes even ‘The stone which the builders rejected become the chief corner stone. Psalms 118:22 AMP

May the mercy of God encompass you today. Amen

I have learnt that one the most fervent prayer ‘Lord have mercy on me’. Cast all your cares, sins and look up to Him for all righteousness. Mercy opens doors, make you find favor, many good things come upon the one whom the Lord shows mercy. You never become stranded!

Verses 5-16 These verses speak of confidence and trust in the Lord. But one verse attracted me which I will wrap up with vs 5-16… It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8 KJV

Even ‘God identified that for he knows we are but dust’ Ps 103: 14, whatever and whoever you are, you are dust. D-U-S-T!

Have you been placed in a large position or in wealth: remember, you are dust; remain humble! Don’t trust in your wealth or position… The LORD will answered, and set me in a large place. Psalm 118:5b KJV

Is there a ‘DUST’ threatening or intimidating you, marriage, work, or your circumstance…The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me? Psalm 118:6 KJV

Confess it!

Have you been favoured by ‘DUST’, appreciate it! But ‘The LORD taketh my part with them that help me’. Psalm 118:7a KJV. All glory to God!

I will also like to ask, Where does your strength comes from in the face of challenges? For in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. Ps 118: 10b, 11b, 12b. Cast all your burden on Him, and trust in Him.

Your world is in your mind, not the physical world.
