Stop Your Sin-Consciousness…

If you are a BELIEVER… Praying in a night devotion… And you felt your prayers might not be effective…. Because you forgot to ask for forgiveness for the ‘sins’ committed during the day…. You are excitedly under LAW! Hmm…

Under Grace: God’s forgiveness is not ‘confession-dependent’! It is simply according to the RICHES of His GRACE!

‘In whom we have redemption through His blood, the FORGIVENESS of sins…according to the RICHES OF HIS GRACE’! (Eph 1:7)

Wow! Let me ask you a question that would help you understand the verse I just quoted above: To what extent can you measure the RICHES of God’s Grace? Hmm… Your answer will determine the extent to which you believe God forgave you the day you became ‘Born-again’!

The Bible says:

‘Let us come BOLDLY to the Throne of Grace…’ (Heb 4:16)

The word ‘BOLDLY’ there refers to a confident approach with a consciousness that your sins are FULLY forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross! Hmm….

‘Having therefore, brethren, BOLDNESS to enter into the Holiest….by the BLOOD OF JESUS’! (Heb 10:19)

Wow! Now listen carefully: the power to ‘sin no more’ lies in the consciousness that ‘there is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus’! (John 8:11)

Under Law: ‘sin’ hinders your prayers from being answered! (Isa 59:1-2)

Under Grace: ‘sin-consciousness’ hinders your prayers from being answered! (Rom 8:15)

Stop your ‘SIN-CONSCIOUSNESS’! Hmm…. Rather activate your ‘SON-CONSCIOUSNESS’! (John1:12)
