The True Church Revival

In today’s Christianity, when a revival is organized, it is very ‘hot’ against sin! Laws are being fired into the members, with the message threatening men with hell! Hmm…

‘If you don’t repent, u will DIE! HELL is real!!! God is ANGRY with the sinners!!! You better CHANGE now!!! Touch not! Taste not! Handle not! The JUDGMENT is coming SOON’!

Hmmm…! Did you notice every word up there is referring to YOU!!!…no reference at all to what Jesus has done for you on the cross! Many teach as if Jesus came to die for Himself! There is no reference to the finished work at the cross!

…oh, that precious BLOOD!

Now listen carefully: in hell fire, whenever the devil is thinking of REVIVING sin among men, he shouts at them:…ORGANIZE HOT ‘REVIVAL’ SERVICES in churches!!!

Hmmm… Now I’m sure u are wondering what I mean! He tells them… let their teachers teach them the LAW and JUDGMENT of the Lord! But why would this be so (you may ask)?

Hear this: nothing REVIVES sin in the church like a platform where the LAW is powerfully taught!  Read this verse carefully:

‘I was once ALIVE (living above sin) without the LAW…but when the commandment came (heavy exposure to the law)….SIN REVIVED …and I died!!! (Romans 7:9)

Hmmm.. Now from the verse above: What REVIVES sin in a believer? Answer: LAW!

The Bible also says:

‘…the STRENGTH of sin is the LAW’! (1Cor 15:56)

Question: What is the major tool the devil uses to introduce sin to believers? Answer: LAW!

The Bible also says:

‘therefore by the deeds of the LAW there shall NO FLESH be justified in His (God’s) sight….for by the LAW is the KNOWLEDGE of sin! (Romans 3:20)

Question: How does the devil make people KNOW sin? …hmmm… LAW!

You see, when I first read ‘Colossians 2:21’ many years ago, I decided I will put myself under strict RULES in order to please God!

‘…touch not, taste not, handle not..’ (Col 2:21)

Hmmm…. But I was shocked when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the preceding verse!

‘wherefore, if ye be DEAD with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though LIVING IN THE WORLD, are ye subject to ORDINANCES (law)’! (Col 2:20)

Wow! So, LAWs will eventually make me live ‘worldly’! So, I’m not to depend on self-effort to live righteous!

Now listen carefully: for a REVIVAL to truly be a REVIVAL in which sin would be swallowed up in victory, GRACE must be the major point of reference! Until the Church realizes that the power over sin lies in teaching men that their SINS ARE ALREADY WASHED AWAY, we will keep having revivals upon revivals with same revived people needing revival again!

The only answer to the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH in the church is…the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS!!! (Rom 8:2) GREAT REVIVALS ARE GRACE REVIVAL!!!
