Once Saved… Always Saved!

Before you became ‘born again’… Can you remember doing some ‘good’ things? Like…helping an old woman carry her load…giving alms to street beggars…saying the truth to your parents, etc… Hmm… Here comes my question!!!

Did any of those ‘good’ deeds change your status as an UNSAVED person? (I guess I can hear you saying a big NO)! Hmm… Now that you are born again…. Why then do you feel that some of the bad things you find yourself doing will change your ‘status’ as a SAVED believer? Oh! Oh!

‘For by one offering hath He PERFECTED FOREVER them that are sanctified’! (Hebrews 10:14)

Hmm… Now listen carefully: the ONLY reason you can LOSE your salvation is …if you actually got the salvation by BEING GOOD!

The statement: ‘ONCE SAVED IS NOT ALWAYS SAVED’…simply means….’You got saved by being GOOD…and if you stop being GOOD….you will lose your salvation’!!! Hmm….is that consistent with the Scriptures?

People who say ‘ONCE SAVED IS NOT ALWAYS SAVED’…are people who think on the last day…before God can grant them entrance into heaven…He will ask them: ‘tell me how much you fasted’? ‘Did you pray 5 hours per day?’ What about your tithes…were you consistent in paying them? ‘Did you overcome all the temptations that came your way’?

Hmm…and then they will reply: ‘I fasted twice every week…I pay my tithes regularly…in fact…I always overcome all temptations that come my way’!!!

Lol…!!!

‘For by GRACE are ye SAVED…and that not of yourself…it is the GIFT OF GOD…NOT OF WORKS…LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST’!!! (Eph 2:8-9)

Nobody…I repeat…Nobody…oh yeah…Nobody will enter heaven based on what he did or did not do!!! Hmm…

‘For there is NOT a just man upon earth… that doeth GOOD and SINNETH NOT.’ (Eccl 7:20)

If you enter Heaven… It is simply because of what you rightly BELIEVED while on earth!!!

‘For if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus…and shall BELIEVE in thy HEART (not mind)… that God raised Him up from the dead…..THOU SHALL BE SAVED’! (Romans 10:9-10)

Hear this: you were not saved by your GOODNESS… Therefore… You CANNOT be lost by your BADNESS!!! Hmm…

‘For God COMMENDED HIS LOVE towards us….in that…WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS….’ (Romans 5:8)

Listen: you either believe what the Bible says about your salvation…or you follow what your brain tells you! SALVATION IS A ONCE AND FOR ALL PHENOMENON!!!

‘…we are SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE OFFERING OF THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST….ONCE AND FOR ALL’! (Heb 10:10)

Open your Bible and see for yourself…if the phrase…ONCE AND FOR ALL…is not clearly written in Hebrews 10:10 quoted above! Hmm…. Many people think that the knowledge of eternal salvation will make people to sin more! That is a lie from the pit of hell! Jesus said:

‘I tell you, then, the GREAT LOVE she (a sinner) has SHOWN…PROVES that…HER MANY SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN. But whoever has been FORGIVEN little…shows only a LITTLE LOVE’! (Luke 7:47 GNB)

Wow! If you think you are forgiven little…you’ll end up loving Jesus little! But if you believe you are forgiven much…you will end up loving God much! The reason you are struggling in your Christian life is because you have not come to the point of BELIEVING WITH YOUR HEART that Jesus has paid for ALL your sins!!! You still think He only paid for ‘some’ of your sins! With such a mentality…the devil will keep ‘flogging’ you with the rods of condemnation ….and make you experience untold distance from God! Hmm….

What saved you INITIALLY…will keep you ETERNALLY!!!
