Healing Does Not Come By Your Holiness

If you are a BELIEVER… And you were asked to pray for a sick person… And you felt you cannot… Because you remembered your past sins… Hmm… You are seriously under LAW!

Now listen carefully: healing does NOT come by your holiness!!! Healing simply comes IN JESUS NAME!

Peter once healed a lame man….and people gathered around him wondering how ‘holy’ he was to have performed such a miracle! Hmm… See Peter’s response:

‘….ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or HOLINESS we had made this man to walk? (Acts 3:12)

Oh! Did you see that?Then Peter continued by saying:

‘And HIS NAME (Jesus)…through faith in HIS NAME…hath made this man STRONG….yea, the FAITH (or righteousness) which is by HIM (Jesus) hath given him (the lame man) this PERFECT SOUNDNESS in the presence of you all’! (Acts 3:16)

Hmm…. Now listen carefully: when GRACE is at work….your righteousness does NOT come into play! It is either your RIGHTEOUSNESS….or GOD’s RIGHTEOUSNESS…that brings the healing!

That is why in the Old Testament, nobody prayed in JESUS NAME! This is because under LAW…any miracle you desire must come by your OWN righteousness!

When you say …’IN JESUS NAME’…, you are simply saying:…‘Lord, I know I can never be righteous enough to perform this miracle….but I demand this miracle based on the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Jesus Christ’! (John 14:6, Rom 10:3)

Hmm… Listen: there is no point praying ‘in Jesus name’…if you still believe you must be very holy to get God into action!

When you understand how Grace operates, you will even choose to stop sinning…because under Grace, God does not use ‘punishments’ to change you! Hmm…

‘But there is FORGIVENESS with thee…that thou mayest be FEARED’! (Ps 103:4)

Praise God! Under Grace: God uses FORGIVENESS to change you and make you want to live your life pleasing to Him! Therefore, go ahead and heal the sick…for it is written:

‘and these signs shall follow them that Believe (not them that fulfil the Law)…..in MY name (not in their holiness)….they shall CAST OUT DEVILS…they shall lay their hands on the sick…and they shall RECOVER…’! (Mark 16:17-18)

Grace is GREATER than ALL your sins! (Romans 5:20)

Never forget: it is not your holiness that heals the sick! It is simply… IN JESUS NAME!
