The Real Father Christmas

Sorry to disappoint you… But that potbellied guy wearing red with white beards is NOT the FATHER CHRISTmas! The True Father Christmas is the One that said:

‘…I am come that ye may have LIFE, and have it More Abundantly’! (John 10:10)

Every counterfeit ‘Father Christmas’ gives gifts from a bag of pre-determined gifts to show generosity. But this ‘Father Christmas’ is both the GIVER and the GIFT!

‘…HE GAVE HIMSELF for us…’ (Titus 2:14)

The ‘gift’ is the ‘giver’ and the ‘giver’ is the ‘gift’! Wow! No counterfeit can beat Him to His depth of tremendous generosity!

‘…I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd GIVETH HIS LIFE for the sheep…’ (John 10:11)

What we ‘received’ at Christmas was His LIFE…not a ‘pack of sweets’! Christmas is NOT about ‘Santa Claus’. Christmas is all about ‘Santa Jesus’! He is the only Santa who can dare make the statement captured in John 4:10

‘…Jesus answered, “If you knew THE GENEROSITY OF GOD and WHO I AM, you would be asking me for a drink, and I would give you FRESH, LIVING water.” (John 4:10 MSG)

Hmm… GIVER like no other!

‘…Anyone who drinks the water I give will NEVER THIRST—not ever…The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of ENDLESS life.’ (John 4:13 MSG)

Now the ‘gift’ is the ‘giver’ and the ‘giver’ is the ‘gift’ that never stops ‘giving’! Hallelujah.

Therefore, celebrate the Real Father Christmas this season.
